EXPERIENCE

BRG Investment Management Limited  -  New York, NY
President / Founder; February 2001 - present
I founded this fee-based investment management firm (a Delaware Corporation) at the request of several clients when leaving Goldman Sachs. Specializing in US equities, fixed income (bonds), international equities, and options. Advice includes asset allocation, account consolidation, recommendations on non-financial investments (e.g. real estate and fine art), and market updates. Also perform 'one off' portfolio analysis for non-permanent clients interested in an independent evaluation of current holdings.

Kiodex, Inc.  -  New York, NY
Vice President , Client Services; September 2000 - June 2001
Founded by a group of ex-Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse bankers, this ASP based, risk-analysis startup was funded by Warburg Pincus ($25mm). Its breakthrough software allows producers and users of commodity derivatives to value complex positions and stress test portfolios. I established and managed all ëtouchpoints' with clients, leading a team of eight: ensured that a 'service culture' permeated every division of the firm, purchased and implemented Siebel, helped develop the sales commission structure, wrote service policy and service level agreement, managed the marketing and sales strategies.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. Bank  -  Zurich, Switzerland
Executive Director, Private Client Services; May 1995 - June 2000
As a sole-practitioner private banker, acquired and manage with discretion nearly $250 million from wealthy individuals. Given a territory with no natural affinity or connections (Monaco), successfully cold-called and networked to build business; also had clients in Spain, Israel, France and New York. Using Goldman Sachs' resources, consistently outperformed the S&P 500, while having one of the highest yield-on-assets. Worked extensively with Equities, Debt, Derivatives (equity and currency), Commodities, and Indices. Was also actively involved in recruiting, training, and analyst development.

Musee d'art Contemporain  -  Lausanne, Switzerland
Admistrateur; February 1992 - March 1993
Managed the daily operations of this internationally known private Museum owned by Asher Edelman. Responsibilities included building membership, fund raising, marketing, transport and insurance of art works for exhibits (often arranging for donations); production and distribution of posters and catalogs; management of reception, guard and cafeteria personnel. Worked closely with internationally known artists, gallerists, collectors and curators.

US NAVY  -  Washington, DC and Schenectady, NY
Lieutenant Commander, Naval Reactors; June 1986 - January 1992
Negotiated $150 million annual nuclear reactor prime contract for submarines and carriers. Oversaw and approved the placement of subcontracts, worked closely with technical staff, managed the competitive environment: maintaining vendor base and compliance with federal regulations. Improved and automated purchasing at a nuclear research laboratory. Directed major mainframe software purchase and implementation, in addition to administering technical procurements, including large, complicated cost-type contracts.
